What is Tall Ships Races?
The city of Tallinn will host and organize the Tall Ships Races sailing regatta in 2024. This grand and extraordinary maritime festival will take place from July 11th to 14th at the Seaplane Harbour, Noblessner Port, and the Old Port, offering plenty of emotions and activities both on land and at sea.
Tall Ships Races is the world’s largest and longest-running regatta of sailing training ships, bringing over 60 large sailing ships to the three ports of Tallinn. These ships carry up to 1,500 trainees from 12-15 different countries, as one of the regatta’s goals is to provide young people with the opportunity to gain sailing experience and test themselves at sea.
Visitors will be able to tour the large sailing ships in Tallinn’s ports and even organize events on their decks. Additionally, the ports will feature plenty of good music, delicious food, and various festival activities.
